FEP Fluoropolymer Heat Shrink Tubing
Translucent FEP tubing that shrinks tightly around any profile at 150–200°C — delivering chemical resistance, electrical insulation, and a non-stick surface from -65°C to +200°C. Available from 0.47 mm extra-fine to 66 mm.
Overview
Junkosha FEP Fluoropolymer Heat Shrink Tubing provides protective covering for sensitive components requiring chemical resistance, electrical insulation, and non-adhesive properties. The tubing shrinks in diameter when heated to 150–200°C, conforming tightly to complex profiles. Two series are available: NF (standard, 1.5–66 mm inner diameter) and NFL (extra-fine, 0.47–2.35 mm for miniature applications such as sensors and thermistors).

Shrinkage Processing Method
Select the Size
Choose by the inner diameter before and after shrinkage from the size tables. For high use temperatures, sharp edges, or high thermal conduction, select the largest applicable size.
Cut to Length
Cut the tube so its length approximately matches the item to be covered.
Heat to 150–200°C
FEP tubing shrinks almost completely between 150–180°C and completes shrinking at 200°C (guaranteed I.D. at 200°C for 20 minutes). Heat uniformly, work from the center outward to eliminate air bubbles, and avoid overheating.
Choose Your Heater
Heat guns, electric furnaces, infrared heaters, electrothermic equipment, and tunnel furnaces can all be used.
⚠ Storage: FEP heat shrink tubing gradually starts shrinking naturally at approx. 40°C — store in a cool, dark place at or below room temperature. Storage period approx. one year.
Chemical Resistance (No Change)
