Multi-Layer Tubing
Fluoropolymer Purity. Flexible Outer. One Tube.
Two constructions — AP1 (fluoropolymer inner + nylon outer) and UP1 (fluoropolymer inner + polyurethane outer) — deliver the chemical purity of fluoropolymer with the flexibility, kink resistance, and pressure capability that single-layer fluoropolymer cannot achieve. Layers are permanently bonded by monolithic molding.

Pure Fluoropolymer Is Chemically Perfect. But It Kinks, Collapses, and Costs More Than Necessary.
When a solvent, paint, or chemical fluid requires fluoropolymer purity at the wetted surface, specifying a solid PFA or FEP tube solves the chemistry — but creates mechanical problems. Pure fluoropolymer is stiff, prone to kinking, and difficult to route in tight installations. Adding pressure resistance requires thick walls that reduce flexibility further.
Multi-layer construction solves this directly. The inner fluoropolymer layer contacts the fluid. The outer nylon (AP1) or polyurethane (UP1) layer provides the flexibility, kink resistance, abrasion resistance, and pressure capability that fluoropolymer alone cannot deliver — all in a permanently bonded, monolithic structure that cannot delaminate.
Two Constructions
Higher pressure rating (up to 2.0 MPa). Stiffer outer for abrasion-prone runs. Milky-white appearance.
Maximum flexibility. Anti-twist routing possible with Stainless Fitting US2 Series. Do not use where solvents/chemicals spatter on the outer surface.
