The Cable Your Inspection Line Can't Afford to Lose.
Standard cables fail on moving gantries. Junkosha's EHF-02 is engineered with proprietary FEP technology to withstand 50+ million sliding cycles — keeping your vision images clean for the full machine service life.
What Happens When the Cable Can't Keep Up
A machine vision cable doesn't just carry data — it moves. Millions of times. Every failure is unplanned downtime on a line that costs money every minute it stops.
The Failure That Never Comes at a Good Time
The cable on the gantry moves tens of millions of times. One day it fails. The line stops. The technician arrives. Your OEE takes a hit. The cable cost a few hundred. The downtime cost tens of thousands.
Your Image Data Isn't Reliable
A standard flex cable introduces inconsistent impedance under bend — and what looks like an algorithm problem in your vision system is actually noise on the line. You recalibrate. The noise comes back.
Your Standards Aren't Served Locally
You need USB 3.1 compliant cable with high flex life, Camera Link MDR/HDR, or CAT5e for moving parts. You find it in a German catalog. Lead time: 12 weeks. No local support.
EHF-02: Designed to Move. Built to Last.
Junkosha developed EHF-02 specifically for the moving-part machine vision challenge — knowing that repeated bending, sliding, and vibration are not edge cases, but normal operating conditions.
50 Million Sliding Cycles
Junkosha's EHF-02 USB 3.0/3.1 cable assembly withstands 50+ million sliding cycles in rigorous industrial testing — far exceeding standard USB 3.0 flex life requirements. Optical fiber type: 100 million cycles at R=50mm.
FEP Fluoropolymer for Moving Parts
FEP fluoropolymer insulation delivers electrical stability under repeated bending — maintaining consistent 50Ω/75Ω impedance throughout cable life. Less noise, less recalibration, more production time.
USB 3.1, Camera Link, CAT5e — One Series
EHF-02 covers all major industrial machine vision standards: USB 3.1, Camera Link CL and PoCL with MDR/HDR, CAT5e 100Ω, and DeviceNet. One cable family, one supplier, one local rep.
Cable Only or Complete Assembly
Available as raw cable for custom integration, or as a complete ready-to-install assembly with connectors. Standard lengths 0.5–8m, with custom options for non-standard machine configurations.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many flex cycles does the cable withstand?
The USB 3.0/3.1 assembly withstands 50+ million sliding cycles. The optical fiber type reaches 100 million cycles at R=50mm minimum bend radius — far exceeding standard USB 3.0 flex life requirements.
Which Camera Link standards are supported?
EHF-02 is available in standard Camera Link (CL) with 22 cores and PoCL (Power over Camera Link) with 24 cores. Both available with MDR and HDR connectors in mini/standard configurations, lengths 0.5–8m.
Can I get non-standard lengths?
Yes. Junkosha manufactures to customer specifications. Contact Koto Electronics with your length requirements, connector type, and operating environment.
What's the difference between CL and PoCL?
Standard CL: 22 cores, 8mm OD. PoCL adds power over the cable for reduced cabling complexity: 24 cores, 9mm OD. PoCL is recommended for new installations where power routing is a constraint.
Is the cable suitable for semiconductor equipment?
Yes. EHF-02 is used in chip mounters and circuit board visual inspection equipment — two of the most demanding production environments. FEP insulation is resistant to industrial oils and chemicals.
Is this cable available from stock in Israel?
Koto Electronics maintains authorized stock in Israel. Contact us to check availability for your specific configuration — lead times are significantly shorter than European sources.
Stop Planning Cable Replacements. Start Planning Production.
50 million sliding cycles isn't a marketing number — it's an uptime promise. EHF-02 is built so your inspection line doesn't stop because of a cable.
