Reliability-assured differential transmission cables for space development applications
These cables incorporate silver-plated, high-tensile-strength copper alloy conducting wires and EPTFE and PFA insulation. After covering each conductor with a sheath, two wires are twisted and covered with an interposition and PTFE tape for shaping, then shielded with braided silver-plated annealed copper wires. They are then covered with PFA to form a jacketed paired cable for differential transmission. The 4-pair cables used for differential transmission bundle four paired cables covered with an interposition and PTFE tape for shaping and shielded with braided silver-plated annealed copper wires and sheathed with FPA.
These cables offer high heat resistance, low outgass properties, outstanding flexibility, and superb electrical characteristics, even at high frequencies, to ensure high waveform quality for differential transmission.
